BEX & CAT “ZiRENZ” are a female vocal writing, DJ production duo to the International dance music scene. Classically trained vocalists and musicians training at the ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC London and they both play a selection of musical instruments including piano, flute and guitar. In 2004 Bex n Cat won their first Award for songwriting an Honorable Mention Award from the world renowned John Lennon Songwriting competition USA.
RELEASES: Now successful International recording artists & songwriters in dance they have signed a publishing deal with IMG under the wing of PRS Director Ellis Rich OBE . They have released several singles to date on ARMADA MUSIC ASOT NL, ANJUNABEATS UK, MONDO Records UK, BINARY FINARY Recordings Aus, QUAKE Recordings Jap, to name a few. Their tracks Edge Of Space, The Hymn & Shine On Me are all featured on many International DJ compilation albums through Armada Muisc including the Award Winning ARMIN VAN BURREN - A State of Trance 2006 compilation & 2010 and their music is also featured on Playstation EYETOY Kinetic game. Now is 2011 Cat & Bex aka ZiRENZ have been selected to be official writers for SKY TV music catalogue & BBC placing their music for Film Scores, TV ADS , Documentaries and SKY News & SKY Sports and BBC programmes.
CHARTS: ZiRENZ releases have charted at No.1 in the DMC World Trance charts,No1. in the BEATPORT Download Trance Charts, No. 2 in the Dutch Dance Buzz Charts, No.3 in the Italy Classifica Trance/progressive/ house charts, No.7 in the DMC World Trance Charts, and also they charted in the Dutch TOP 40. There tracks have gained support from some of the world’s TOP DJ's including Armin Van Burren - ASOT Radio - Tune of the week & web vote future favourite, Above & Beyond - TATW Radio - Record of the week, Gavyn Mytchel - MOS - Vital Vinyl chart & radio B playlist and also Paul Van Dyk, Paul Okenfold,Tiesto, Markus Shculz, Matt Darey and so many more have given their support to ZiRENZ music.

IN THE STUDIO: ZIRENZ have finished Piano Vibes Vol.1 & Electronic Vibes EP Vol.1 for their SKY TV project Ambient piano moods & Electronic Sci-fi vibes. As well ZiRENZ have just finished a collab TAKE ME TO HEAVEN with UK DJ Producer Ben Alonzi & Adiz that will see a release summer 2011 on Re-Orders label Silent Shore Records. Currently working on the massive 2011 ZiRENZ Edge of Space project with a selection of known International DJ producers and new fresh up and coming talent so keep a look out for this late 2011 to hit the air waves and download stores.
