SSR059: Ico – And Than It Was Nothing/Limelight
Record label: Silent Shore Records
Format:
We will slow down the speed a bit this time by bringing you very well done EP by talented Swedish producer Ico. His first EP release with us includes two Tribal/Balearic trance beauties And Than It Was Nothing and Limelight.
DJ/Radio Support: Andy Moor (Nice Stuff), Suzy Solar (Great tracks! I plan on supporting both.), Tempo Giusto, Jordan Waeles, Six Senses, Ernesto Vs. Bastian, Haris C, Manuel Le Saux, Giuseppe Ottaviani, and more to come…
And Than It Was Nothing is the softer one from the EP. Bongo rhythms, various percussions and very Island atmosphere of the tune grabs your attention immediately. Strong baseline just moves your body to the rhythm preparing you for wonderful atmospheric breakdown filled with background guitars. Ico builds it up again to give more and more energy.
Limelight is a bit faster and more energetic but still in his smooth style. It builds up nicely with no disturbance. Again the guitars are brought to the scene in the breakdown where Ico shows his strong potential in playing with melodies. Imagine putting this in your car for long distance travels and you have yourself a winner.
